Thirty-five years in enterprise IT. Twenty-five of them in pharmaceutical IT and quality: GMP manufacturing sites, computer system validation, Annex 11 and 21 CFR Part 11, FDA and EMA inspections from the IT side of the table. Most recently senior IT management in a large real-estate group.
OwnedAI exists because of a simple observation: the organisations that would benefit most from document AI are the ones least able to use it — not for lack of interest, but because their data cannot leave the building and their auditors will ask where every answer came from.
So we build it the other way round. Private first. Traceable always. Refusal over guessing. And a clear line around where AI must not be used at all.
How we think
- Data never leaves the client. This is a design principle, not a configuration option.
- Demonstrators before claims. We show working systems; we do not describe hypothetical ones.
- Regulatory judgment is part of the product. Knowing where AI does not belong is worth as much as knowing where it does.
